Ingredients
- 2 whole wheat pita breads
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 tbsp fresh basil leaves (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F.
- Crisp the base:
Brush both sides of the pita breads with oil. Place them in the air fryer basket and cook for 1–2 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly golden and crisp. - Add toppings:
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over each pita, then top with shredded mozzarella. - Melt the cheese:
